two keys for one computer


i bought a new sony vaio fz 160 e . i ran jellybean key finder and got
key that was used to activate my windows vista home premium. but the
strange thing is it dosent match the key on the bottom of computer .
on the bottom it says sony corp oemact and there is a different key .
anyone know whats up ?

That's entirely normal. Mass-produced computers are pre-activated when they
are built and an entire production run will have the same product key. The
key on the sticker is your proof you have a valid copy and may be needed by
you if you ever need to reinstall Windows on that computer.

If you have a factory-installed OEM license, and haven't since
reinstalled the OS, the revealed Product Key is probably of the drive
image used at the factory and not your specific Product Key; therefore,
it probably cannot be -- and definitely should not be -- used for a
re-installation.
