| | Re: how to delete vista Hi, Vista is "deleted" by booting the pc with an install disk of another operating system and removing, then recreating the system volume. Do not just format, nor can you just install something else over it. Backup data you do not wish to lose to removable media. Programs will need to be reinstalled under whatever new OS you choose to install. If you recently purchased this system, you may have downgrade rights available to use XP, check with the manufacturer on this. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Graham Cat" <Gcat@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:13bo8lmedskeud7@corp.supernews.com... >. |

You don't need ms to reformat a partition. I don't see much correlation between xp and 'real OS'. > > > "ray" <ray@zianet.com> wrote in message > news an.2007.08.10.15.22.40.191181@zianet.com...>> On Fri, 10 Aug 2007 08:32:54 +0000, Graham Cat wrote: >> >>> . >> >> Boot Gparted Live CD and reformat. >> |
