| | Vista Home Basic Remote Desktop license expired..how to fix? I have a client with Vista Home basic on the laptop and she got about 90 days with of terminal server accessing on the Windows Server 2000 and it just expired. How do I correct this? Does she need to upgrade to Vista Home Premium or Business or add TS CAL on the laptop? The Terminal server should have enough connections. Thanks for your help! |

| | Re: Vista Home Basic Remote Desktop license expired..how to fix? The ability to use built-in 2000 TS CALs (or license equivalency) is only applicable to Operating Systems equivalent or higher than Windows 2000 Workstation. Licenses are only granted to the following: Windows XP Professsional (but not Home) Windows Vista Business Windows Vista Enterprise Windows Vista Ultimate Your client will need to upgrade to a supported Windows Vista version. -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "Poman" wrote: I have a client with Vista Home basic on the laptop and she got about 90 days with of terminal server accessing on the Windows Server 2000 and it just expired.
