Vista Tutorial - Windows Installer Problem GPS Software

Odyssey Mobile is GPS software I previously used with no
difficulty. I recently have to install it on my Vista
Premium machine. The software download is an MSI file.
It installs, but then notifies me there is a problem and
it uninstalls. I have downloade it 3 time and every time
the same issue. I am having trouble running this as an
administrator

Any advice helpful.

Take a look here, MS has a new version of Windows Mobile for Vista
that's different than the XP one.

I have the new mobile software for Vista.
It appears the Odyssey installer bombs out installing
the software itself. I may just be stuck finding an XP
to do the installation.

Have you tried right clicking the install file and selecting "run as
administrator"?

Using an older version of the software I was able in
install it, but it will not attach to the moblile
device. It disconnects constantly. I suspect this is a
Vista Windows Sync problem.
