| | Re: Windows Media Player 11 doesn't play some videos in IE7 I received a solution from Marke****ch. Apparently Norton's ad blocker prevents some sites from working. When I turned it off, the videos played. | | Re: Windows Media Player 11 doesn't play some videos in IE7 That is one of many reasons I tell people to avoid Norton. Norton tools worked pretty good back when Peter Norton ran it. But since Symantec is running things, they suck. -- A Professional Amateur...If anyone knew it all, none of would be here! | | Re: Windows Media Player 11 doesn't play some videos in IE7 If I'm not mistaken, the ad blocker is a user option and not a Symantec default. I'm sure both Symantec and McAfee benefit immensely from all the bashing that they receive in groups such as this one. Human nature dictates, "let me try it and see if it works for me". And if you install the Vista compatible version they both do in fact work very well. -------------------- And the only thing the Borg left was this Macintosh...
