Re-activation for no good reason

This morning, my computer wouldn't boot. No video at all - nothing. It turns
out that I reseated my sound card and TV tuner card (in the exact same
slots), and that solved my problem. Well ,almost...so now I have 2 days to
activate Vista...two days?? Why? I didn't do anything Microsoft...I
swear...please let me go. How about a quick., painless online activation??
Pretty please??? No go. The phone is my option. Probably about my 20th call
over a lifetime (I upgraded early to XP Pro). I'm an avid PC
upgrader...video cards, memory, CPUs.... My reward from the PC industry for
spending lots of money? Oh, and did I say I own the most expensive copy of
Windows Vista in the whole world? The Ultimate Edition retail? My reward is
that I get to call Bangalore, India at 11:20pm EST on a Saturday night (don't
get me wrong, I love Indians). Thanks Microsoft. For the 20th time, you're
really stopping piracy in its tracks with me. You know what...I think my
next phone is going to be an iPhone. Have you seen that thing Microsoft? I
3 year can ioperate it. Really. I'm seriouos...I know of a 3 year old that
can do all kinds of stuff on it. I had trouble making and reciving phone
calls today on my new Trea 750 with Windows Mobile 5 (well, more like 5.2 - I
just patched it today to take care of the "no sound" issue). YMicrosoft,
you should be embarrassed about Windows Mobile. And Vista activation for
that matter. This is what happens when a giant operates with no real
competition. I used to be a big Microsoft fan...sold and serviced their
products for years. I was a big fan up until today. I never want to
activate another Microsoft product again.....ever. Someone wake me up and
tell me that they didn't intentionally make their product like this? Please
tell me this is just a bad dream. It has to be a big mistake....it has to.
