Vista - Sound Problem

I have Vista and avast 4.7.1001 and anytime I move my mouse over a button on
the simple user interface I hear a windows ding sound. In my sound settings
under avast antivirus there is no sound set for this it reads none. When I
had XP sp2 I never had this problem. Anyone know what the problem is?

Go Start/Control Panel/Sound and the Sounds tab and check the list.
