Re: Vista drop-down (Navigational?) menu

Hi,

I'm not really sure what you're talking about, but if it's a toolbar you
should be able to right click on it and use 'close toolbar'. It may be
something that is specific to your system and manufacturer or one of the
installed programs.

Vista drop-down (Navigational?) menu

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to remove that drop-down menu on my Vista
Premium desktop. This bar has shortcut keys on them, can anyone tell me
how to disable this thing whatever it is called, it contains those F keys on
it.

Thanks in advance

Maybe if you gave us some details about what you are seeing.

What is the name on the drop down menu?
What menu options are on the drop down when you open it?
Where exactly is this drop down on the Desktop?

We cannot see your screen from here.

I have been searching for what that damn thing is and finally hit upon a
site that identified it as Toshiba Flash Card, it is a drop-down menu
shortcut (bar) that drops from the top of the screen. Apparently I can
uninstall it but hesitate in case I ever need it. Also it is a Toshiba
thing, I would guess other companies have it too.

Thanks all, for reading and responding.
