Windows firewall and defender problems.

Somebody tell me.

I upgraded my PC to Windows Vista Home premium 32 bit edition several months
ago without any technical problems, until I noticed an incovenient issue.
That issue is everytime I log on into Windows my firewall is always turned
off so as my Windows defender. So, I turn them on and they remain like that
until I log off windows, but they will turn off again next time i log on.

Are you running some other security package (anti virus/anti
spy/firewall ) such as Windows One Care ?
If so this may be the intended state as you should not have the two
firewalls up at the same time.
