| | USB-disk "suggestion window" When I put in an USB-memory (disk or stick), my computer used to come up with a window with a number of suggestions what to do with the USB-unit. That however doesn't happen any more. I have no problem accessing and working with that unit, but the "suggestion window" simply isn't there. Anyone got a clue how to get it back? |

Go to Control Panel | Hardware and Sound | Autoplay. Check that the device in question has "Ask me every time" selected or "Take no action." If the latter, change to "Ask me every time" for that device. Lang |

It may be a AutoPlay setting that is off or has been changed. Put your USB devices in and check in AutoPlay to see if you see anything for "what to do" settings for a USB device. You can use this as a guide on AutoPlay. AutoPlay Settings Shawn |
