| Member Join Date: May 2007 | Unable to select "Run as administrator" its greyed out! I have an app that needs to be run in admin mode when i right click on shortcut, under compatibility, its greyed out. Any ideas? |

| Guest | Re: Unable to select "Run as administrator" its greyed out! If you turn UAC on, it won't be grayed out. Otherwise, you are already running the program as administrator, if you are logged on to an administrative account. As it is, it's grayed out because it's an invalid choice. In other words, with UAC off, the privilege level is already administrative when you run the program.
