| | Power Management I am running a dual FX-74 system and I would like to utilize the S3 power saving feature. However , if I have medium power savings enabled (S3 enabled at 1 hour), sometimes my computer fails to recover from hibernate/standby mode. If I shut down and reboot, it damages the boot volume and then I need to use the windows recovery environment. This worked a few times. One time, I needed to completely re-install Vista. Is there a fix/update to correct this problem? I have ACPI 2.0 enabled in the bios and the S3 is set to automatic. Any suggestions? |
