software installation error HELP!!!

Im trying to install Adobe CS3 trial programs from the Adobe
website.everything works fine i download the files etc but everytime i click
the 'setup' exe file it begins installation and the progress box disappears,
and nothing will install! driving me nuts! any suggestions to make this work
would be amazing.

You might want to try the adobe forums. That is an Adobe issue, not a Vista
issue.

i think its something to do with vista because other ppl have installed this
software, and havent reported any problems. everything with adobe is fine
until i get to my system to install the already downloaded files...

That might be true but the number of people in the vista.general forum
installing Adobe CS3 is very small compared to the number of people
installing Adobe CS3 in the Adobe CS3 forums!

Try RIGHT CLICK on Setup.exe file and select Run as ADMIN.
This solves many install issues for me.
