Program Drivers

Could someone please tell me where the 'Program Drivers' are stored in
Windows Vista?

Thank you,
Priscilla

They will be found in the Windows folder. What is it you need to do?

RE: Program Drivers

Hi Paul,
I'm taking Paint Shop Pro Lessons and they said I need to load (4) plug-in
filters into my Program Drivers. They are not familiar with Vista and
therefore can't tell me how to do that.

Re: Program Drivers

There isn't any such thing as "Program Drivers". I would ask the folks who
are providing the files where they need to go since that answer will
determine what you need to do with them.

Re: Program Drivers

What version of PSP are you using? More than likely the plug-ins will
go here <C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Pro 7> or a given
subfolder, again depending on what version you are using.

Where are you finding these plug-ins? I presume you are downloading them,
and they should install into the correct folder, if they are part of an
installation package.

Richard

Re: Program Drivers

Hi Richard,
They are telling me that in Windows ME, they save them to Windows, in
Windows XP, they are saved to System 32. So I guess I need to know what the
equivalent would be to saving them in Vista.

Thank you,
Priscilla

Re: Program Drivers

I'm using PSP9. They aren't Plug-ins, they are Filter Drivers. They say I
need to install these before the Plug-Ins will go in there.

Re: Program Drivers

Do they go in System 32 or in the Driver folder in System 32?
