| | Please, give me a shortcut to force a restart to Windows Explorer Dear friends: Please tell me how to make a shortcut in the quick launch bar in order to force a restart to Windows Explorer. This seems to be the only solution to my problem of the Desktop-Without-Icons that I posted a couple of days ago in this group. Thanks Juan I. Cahis Santiago de Chile (South America) Note: Please forgive me for my bad English, I am trying to improve it! |

Shutdown, use this C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe /s /t 0 Restart, use this C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe /r /t 0 Then right click your new icon and choose "Add To Quick Launch" before doing anything else. |
