Does anyone have a suggestions? Check and make sure that you have all email scanning options turned off in your antivirus program. If you have Norton or McAfee, uninstall them and use something like the free Avast instead. They are not completely compatible with Vista yet despite what they may say. Vista, unlike XP, protects the root of a drive. In this case, that means C:\ and it is better security.
