| | windows explorer jpg properties Can someone who has tried the Vista beta2 release tell me whether whatever it uses as Windows Explorer still shows similar jpg properties when the View is set to thumbnails? For years I have used some elderly photo album software, good enough for me, I don't require much of it. But some albums are now broken, in that a while ago I added another drive and the file paths changed. There seems no way to reset the paths, the only course is to delete the entry and add it back. Then the associated comments, e.g. "outside Le Meridien Hotel, Cairo", disappear. I don't want to restore them because I'm going to have to build a new system next year and the paths will change again. I want something with a bit of future-proofing. Windows Explorer currently shows me the exif information and allows me to add comments, it seems likely that will continue in Vista. Does it? Geoff |
