Vista Ultimate is required (and the DreamScene Preview installed) in
order to use movie files as background on the desktop.

Hi Cooper,

Yes, you must be running Windows Vista Ultimate, and you must download this Ultimate Extra. It is called "DreamScene". This will explain how to use DreamScene.

Re: Animated backgrounds?

Hello,

that feature, called ActiveDesktop, doesn't exist in Vista.
You could try the following program:

I can't tell if it really works.

Hope this helps.
