wanted-ability to edit your post on the community BB

I don't see a way to edit a post after it is posted in the Windows Vista
Community. Sometimes I like to make a typo correction or rephrase something
to make more sense. Thank you.

Once it's posted, there is no editing possible.

The best you can do is to post a follow-up correcting and/or clarifying
the original post.

That's because this isn't a "bulletin board". It's a web interface to
Usenet newsgroups. I'll give you information about Usenet below. If you
want to use a web forum with editing, then two very good places are
www.aumha.net forums and www.computerhaven.info.

Since you are using the web interface, you may not realize that this is
really a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you
learn to use a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows,
but you can use Outlook Express (XP) or Windows Mail (Vista) since you
already have it. Here are some links to information about newsgroups:

Hello, ruby in the dust.

I'm afraid that once you've posted, you've posted. It's like not being able
to get an email back once you've hit send.

In fact, many people access newsgroups as a series of emails, not as
postings on a website or bulletin board. That's how I do it, via Windows
Mail, and before that, via Outlook Express.
