Vista - Re: Why Ubuntu Sucks

Mate I never even read your post........Why......cos your right it truly
does suck.

I installed it and unless you can write script and have degree in
scietific computing Forget it.............Juts getting on to the
Internet was a completely confusing experience.............Bill Gates
must sleep well at night if that's all he has to worry about.......The
average computer person is never going to mess about for days on end
trying to understand it.

I went to some forum and there were dozens of people scratching there
head and dozens of others writing double dutch answers that the layman
had no chance of understanding.

Word of warning.........uninstalling it of you don't have a floppy is a
headache.

There is a disc you can download but its more complicated than trying
to geta muppet to move without a hand up his butt

Given the above, you really do need to stick with windows. It looks to
be the best choice for you. Enjoy.

I believe if you head over to Redhat.com and SuSE.com, you will
find Enterprise editions of RedHat and SuSE respectively, that costs in
the 3 to 4 figures (pending which version you buy). Yes, *BUY*

10.1, and it sits in its original box, ready to be traded for a piece of

I bought a copy of Suse ($4) to install, after 2 hrs of $^&%#$%%^, I
stopped. So many files, drivers etc could not be found to complete the
installation. Ubantu was another story, installed right away....so far I
can browse the internet....nothing much else seems useful.

I am laughing at all of y'all. I can do just about anything I want
to do on most Linux systems. I can do mostly the same on
Vista. Having no problems with either.

3 or 4 tweaks to get it to run right? Come on, any one
of us here with any degree whatsoever of computer knowledge
could make either of these systems, or both of them, work, and
even, (GASP!) work together.

If the guys who are so busy posting that neener neener dribble
were to waste half that time trying to actually do something
worthwhile, then opinions about all of it might change.

I say that no one should be able to comment on it
unless they are currently running both. -
But of course it's up to you.

Dude, world peace is the answer. But no one remembers
the question.
