I have a simple program which broadcasts a packet on 255.255.255.255 every
second but although the packet sending function doesnt return any errors but
the packet is not seen in the network.
Is there any special setting for allowing the broadcasts?
im using vista ultimate build 6000

In trying to help the OP for that thread I found a lot of people reporting
this but not a lot of answers. The last post in the thread has a possible
