| | Office 2003 File Browsing Problem I’m running Office 2003 on Vista Business Edition. If I do File Open and then click on the drop down arrow to browse to directory, it takes about 30 seconds to a minute for the program to respond. This is true for all of the Office applications. It is also true when I do a Save As. I do not have this problem with any none Office application. For example I do not have this problem with Photoshop CS3. I have SP2 for Office 2003 installed. Windows is set to auto download and install updates. The computer is at work. We are on a network. To work around the problem, I have stopped opening files within Office applications. Instead, I open file explorer and double click on the Word or Excel file I want to work on. File explorer does not exhibit any slow down, or non-responsiveness. Any help would be appreciated. |
