Vista CPP closing tomorrow

If you haven't yet registered for the Vista CPP and think you want to, the
program will close to new orders tomorrow. From
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvist.../preview.mspx:

"Please note: The Customer Preview Program will close to new orders on
Friday, June 30. For registered customers who have received a Product Key
the download sites will remain open until Friday, July 14."

And don't ignore the warning:

"Note: This is beta code and should not be used in a production environment
or on a main machine in the home. Beta 2 is intended for developers, IT
professionals and technology experts to continue or begin their testing of
Windows Vista. Before you decide to use Beta 2, you should feel comfortable
with installing operating systems, updating drivers, and general PC
troubleshooting. Some risks of using beta operating systems include hardware
and software incompatibility and system instability. If you have concerns
about installing this beta software on your computer, we encourage you to
obtain the final release version of Windows Vista when it is available in
2007."

Re: Vista CPP closing tomorrow

Thanks for the warning. I've got Vista already, but there's someone I know
who wants Vista. (except his computer doesn't have enough memory) I just
sent him an e-mail saying that if he has plans to try Vista and get more
memory, he'd better at least sign up so he could get the product key today.
