| | Sync Center recognizes USB flash drive as media player Sync Center in Beta 2 Build 5384 recognizes my SanDisk Cruzer 1GB (970+MB free) USB flash memory drive as a portable media player. Consequently, it brings up Windows Media Player and displays playlists when I attempt to set up a new sync relationship. Believing Vista was confused because the drive had been given a drive letter previously used by my RCA Lyra portable player, I assigned the SanDisk a different drive letter. I didn't help. How can I get Sync Center to recognize the drive as a plain old USB device so I can set up the sync relationship I want? Or, as another poster suggested, is this feature being cut and I don't need to worry about it? ----------------------- It is amazing how illogical a business based on binary logic can be. - Mark Edward Soper |
