Untidy important updates

Ok, installed the updates released last night. Restore point was set, 4
updates applied, rebooted. Now desktop has 2 desktop.ini files on it. Sure I
can just delete them, but it does seem a tad crappy for MS to release an
update set that leaves such basic junk behind. What gives?

Re: Untidy important updates

Go to Computer | Tools | Folder Options | View

Put back in the checks to "Hide Protected Operating System Files" and "Do
Not Show Hidden Files And Folders"

Then Apply and OK your way out.

Re: Untidy important updates

Thanks Richard, that explains it I guess, but I prefer to keep these types
of file visible, have just deleted them...
