Vista - Splash screen

When Windows first boots up, I am getting the progression bar but no splash
screen. I d not have enough video card to enable aero.

Shouldn''t there be a splash screen during this time at least telling me it
is Windows Vista similar to the one that is displayed when XP boots up?

mine does the same thing periodically. It's there, it just may not display
for some reason or another. Look for this to be resolved (hopefully) in later
builds
