| | Indexed search does not work The Vista search does not work for indexed locations. If I search all locations it does. If I search for a simple letter such as the letter "a" it finds nothing. If I go into Advanced Search" and do the same with any selection BUT "Indexed Search" it finds everything with the letter "a" as it should. Can anyone help in this matter? |

The Index only searches in specific locations that where added to it other than the default locations to. You can see how to add locations or file types to the index here. You may also want to do Rebuild the index. Indexing Options If you want to search everything, then you need to use the non-indexed search. Shawn |
