With windows XP there is no problem and the IE window run viable before the desktop is loaded (domain policy setting AD windows 2003). But this doesn't seen to have the same effect on windows vista. Does anybody know how to run my VB loginscript visable with vista before the desktop is loaded ?????? I'm clueless........ Thanks in advance, Dre |

| | Re: Login script Windows Vista Hello, have you got Windows Vista Business, Enterprise or Ultimate? Then you can join a domain and/or set logon scripts. Press Windows-key + R -> gpedit.msc -> Enter. Go to Local Computer Policy -> User Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Scripts (Logon/Logoff) Hope this will help. Greetings, P. | | Re: Login script Windows Vista That is what I'm using, a 2003 domain. The policy is set. But when logging in to vista the script is run only the IE window doesn't display the progress of my VB loginscript (from within the vbscript a IE window is called to display the progress of the loginscript). Running this loginscript with XP doesn't give any problems. "P. Di Stolfo" wrote: Quote: > Hello, > > have you got Windows Vista Business, Enterprise or Ultimate?
