Cannot access removable drives

I Have a new Acer computer with Vista business installed. I have recentley installed Office professional 2007, and ever since have not been able to access any of my removable drives, not even the CD. In explorer all the removable drives have red circles with a line through it. This is a stand alone computer and I am logged on as an administator. Can anybody help please.

Re: Cannot access removable drives

Hello Dasher88,

Was it preinstalled with Vista? Then you should go back to the shop where
you bought it and let them fix it. Should not be on a new computer with preinstalled
software.
If you installed it yourself check that all the drivers are correct and that
under the Device manager everything is installed and not with question marks.

Best regards
