| | Re: Vista print spooler service not running. Oh, also there is no indication on the laptop that there is a problem unless you do a test print from control panel - printers - printer properties. | | Re: Vista print spooler service not running. You have a corrupted printer driver in there somewhere. Uninstall the printer on the notebook...... and then on the Desktop. Then reinstall on the desktop and when it's working correctly, then reinstall on the notebook. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Windows Technologies - Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows "Patrick Casher" <me@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:5SvDi.5624$z_5.5512@xxxxxx Quote: > When we try to print from laptop after coming out of hibernation and > printing to desktop networked printer. | | Re: Vista print spooler service not running. Did as you said now works great. Noticed when I had the problem that there was no indication that the job wasn't printing, if you did a print test it would say print spooler not working. It would be nice to get that message on the print job. Also there was no indication of this as a solution in the help docs. Thanks for the help, Patrick.
