I thought I saw an MVP say that IE7 Beta3 was basically the same IE version already in Vista. -Michael |

IE7 is included with Vista and so there will not be a separate download. Current Vista beta versions include a newer version of IE7 than the recently released Beta 3. When Vista RC1 is released as part of CPP it will contain the newer version of IE7. -- Tom Porterfield |

| | Re: IE7 Beta 3 The version of IE7+ installed in vista beta 2 is missing many new features included in IE7 beta 3. Just wait until vista RC1 for a newer IE7. You can't install beta 3 on vista, thats ok, because it will be included later ![]() -- Robert Firth "MICHAEL" wrote: > "Jarhead" <Jarhead@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:6B012AC9-A0BD-467F-8053-D8ACD5A3311C@microsoft.com... > > Yeah, mine says beta 2 also...what gives? is it just labeled wrong? or do we > > not get beta 3? Is there any place where we can check to know the latest build number? I don't even suggest to download it, but just to compare how old is ours, and to know how you can be so sure of what you're saying... |
