Error during boot on vista installer

Hoping this error hasn't been answered, I put mine.

First, I'm french, so, by advance, excuse my language errors, thank you ;-)

So, I have downloaded the Vista's ISO this afternoon and i have burned it (
Nero 7 ) into a dvd+rw ( Philips ).

My computer's configuration is :
AMD Athlon XP 2400+
2.00 GHz
RAM : 1.75 GB

Graphic card : ATI radeon 9600 SERIES

When I boot my pc on the dvd, I have a black screen and this : "Windows is
loading files" with a status bar.

This finished, I have this error message :

"Windows did not start correctly. A recent hardware or software change might
be the cause.

File : \windows\system32\winload.exe
Status : 0xc000035a
Info : Attempty to load a 64-bit application, however this CPU is not
compatible with 64-bit mode"

For information, I have installed the pack "inspirat vista" few months ago
and, thanks to my engeneer school, I have had a conference on vista. So, I
have seen vista in action, that's why I want to test it !!!

If you need more details ...

Good evening

Nicolas

Hello Nicolas;

You have attempted to install Windows Vista Beta 2 64-bit onto a computer
that does not have a 64-bit CPU. You need to download the 32-bit (also
called x86) version. And hurry because it all ends today.

And your english is much better than my french.

Re: Error during boot on vista installer

Thank you Mark,

I have downloaded the 64-bit version too fastly apparently, I didn't see
that a 32-bits version existed.

Thank you, I'm downloading now
