| | Icons missing! Replaced with the "unkown file" icon. I installed an icon changing program, and it turned out it didn't support Vista. Instead it removed many of my icons - for example the Excel document icon. I reinstalled Office to fix that. BUT - I don't have icons for my media files, some folders and many other common file types. How do I undo what this program did without doing a system restore? Is there a tool that can fix this? |

You might try running the "sfc /scannow" (no quotes) command in a elevated command prompt. If may repair the files for you.
