Vista - Trouble with PPPoE connection og Windows Vista Ultima 32 bit edition

Is there some bug or anything in Windows Vista regarding PPPoE connections?

We have 2 computers that share the same PPPoE modem for connection to
internet. When we use the Windows XP computer it connects as it should and
can use MSN and play games and all.

But when we connect the WIndows Vista computer and sets up the PPPoE
connection it connects as it should, we can surfe on the internet but we
have some small problems that seems to be related to the same thing.
When i check the PPPoE connection i see that it have a IP adress and DNS,
but on gateway its only marked with 0.0.0.0
This causes MSN to fail, reports that it cant find the gateway. We have that
trouble also on a couple of games like WOW.

Can anyone help me with this?

You might try turning off LCP extensions. Network connection properties /
Options tab / PPP settings button.
This might or might not be the problem, but I have seen it help with a few
PPPOE connection issues in Vista. It depends on whether your DSL provider
uses LCP.
