| | what is good substitute for briefcase what is good substitute for briefcase? I heard there is no such thing as brief case. we do have people who have laptop on the road to places where they may not have internet connection anywhere close and they need to work with some files |

It's awful. I found it easy to overwrite and lose important work files under stressful deadline situations. I can't remember the reasons why I lost work (it happened more than once) but I think at least one time it was due to the incorrect time on the CAD workstation I was using. I stopped using Briefcase after I missed a presentation due to using it. Synctoy gives you a lot more control of what is going on, and I would say that it is the more reliable and flexible alternative: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en ss. |
