included Microsoft support

I am considering purchasing Windows Vista Ultimate from my local retail
store. A full, retail, Microsoft OS. A $399.95 cash on the barrel-head pop
to my wallet
Can anyone here tell me what support Microsoft includes with this product.
Many other software manufactures do include some support, even it's only for
30 - 90 days.

Re: included Microsoft support

Free installation support and two support requests afterward
within 90 days of product activation.

Re: included Microsoft support

Thank you for such a speedy reply but I would really appreciate is a link to
Microsoft's website with all of the details of their included support; i.e.
is that telephone support you're referring to or just email? I've done an
numerous searches on MS's website but I can't find any official reference to
included technical support for it's retail purchased OS.

Re: included Microsoft support

For some of us, staying with the old or the limited few isn't an option. I
earn money assisting others, "the typical home user" with their PC needs.
New computers have Vista so this is what I have to learn to support. Most
end users use Microsoft products because they are the most user friendly
platforms available; they're not perfect but then I'm not excepting the
Garden of Eden either. Yes, Microsoft is BIG and it's easy to take shots at
BIG targets. But did anyone ever think that Microsoft just might be big
because they are the are also good? Microsoft offers the best available OS's
out there for the general population, the majority of users.
