| | Vista screen refreshes every few seconds Vista refreshes the screen every few seconds (it blinks ever so briefly) and any keys pressed (such as shift) or menus open are cancelled. This means it is difficult to access long menus and impossible to use certain selection tools in Photoshop etc. I suspect it's a rogue driver. Anyone else had these symptoms? |

| | RE: Vista screen refreshes every few seconds I have the same experience on my Toshiba Lap top. I think that it may be causing blackouts on cds and dvds that I burn. I cannot relate the screen blanking to any particular activity. | | RE: Vista screen refreshes every few seconds Thanks, It's not been happening for a wee while now. I think I eventually tracked it down to a driver update, possibly an ethernet controller update, but might have been an NVidia video driver. It's difficult to be 100% as these things are never totally consistent. "Stu" wrote: Quote: > I have the same experience on my Toshiba Lap top.
