| | Re: 12 Tweaks - Squeeze Every Last Drop of Performance Out of Windows Vista Anyone that tries #12 turning off these services might want to be sure they have a Restore Point ready... you will get System Event Notification Service errors, regular Windows is Updating during Shutdown and StartUp. And A few boots where Your Default Logon (if set) will not be recognizes. Restarting the services DOES NOT fix the problem.
