12 Tweaks - Squeeze Every Last Drop of Performance Out of Windows Vista

http://news.softpedia.com/news/12-Tw...ta-65754.shtml

I like how it starts.. with a very true undeniable statement:

"Windows Vista is a resource hog."

read the rest on the original site since the article is long.

Whoever makes that statement, "Windows Vista is a resource hog", proves
that they don't understand the underlying architecture of Vista and is
comparing it to XP.
Vista uses resource much differently than XP does. It's suppose to use
all available resources. It was designed to do that.
You can't compare apples to oranges, capin' crunch.
Sorry, but you're just another one of those know nothing wannabes.

Re: 12 Tweaks - Squeeze Every Last Drop of Performance Out of Windows Vista

Anyone that tries #12 turning off these services might want to be sure they
have a Restore Point ready... you will get System Event Notification Service
errors, regular Windows is Updating during Shutdown and StartUp. And
A few boots where Your Default Logon (if set) will not be recognizes.
Restarting the services DOES NOT fix the problem.
