Adobe Flash Player

Hi

I can't get Adobe Flash Player to install on Vista Premium.

I run as administrator, and allow the ActiveX install and then the install
of the player. The install starts, next thing a message flashes in IE7
(Windows has prevented.....). It disappears so fast, I can't read what it
says.

I get the 'successful install' animation from Adobe. When I'm asked to
restart IE7, I accept. IE7 closes - then nothing happens. I have to start
IE7 again myself -- and find that Flash Player hasn't been installed.

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, installing Flash Player still seems to be quite problematic
on Vista.

Different folks have different problems. However, the steps described here
seem to have helped many:

If that doesn't solve your problem, I'd suggest you try asking in Adobe's
Flash Player user forum. The underlying cause might still be Vista, but the
folks in the Player forum will be better placed to identify which, of the
several known issues, you are facing:

Good luck with it,
