| | outlook express 2000 to Vista home premium email I have my outlook express on my old hard drive as an external to my new HP laptop. I think I've copied the outlook folder on to my desktop but I'm sure. If I have how do I import the outlook express into vista mail? do I need special software? |

| | Re: outlook express 2000 to Vista home premium email Thanks for answering my post so quickly. When I open the outlook folder I do not see OE6 directory. There are lots of files in the folder. so you know all I did was copy the outlook folder fro my old HD to the desktop of my new computer. Am I missing a step? Perhaps I don't understand the term OE6 directory? When I opened the folder I don't see .dbx this is everything in the folder: csapi3t1.dll MSIMN.exe MSOE.DLL msoe.txt OEIMPORT.DLL OEMIG50.exe OEMIGLIB.DLL setup50.exe WAB.EXE WABFIND.DLL WABIMP.DLL WABMIG.EXE That's everything in the folder. | | Re: outlook express 2000 to Vista home premium email Do a search for *.dbx. If you do not find anything, then you only copied the Outlook Express program folder. I have followed your instructions and just can see the files when I try and load it. You said try menu ALT ( I don't under stand where the menu is located).
