Blue Screens

Hello

I have bought a laptop recently with pre-loaded Vista 32 bit the problem is
I had my pc for only 2 weeks and have seen the blue screen 25 times. I had
run the recovery DVD yesterday and did not install any software and still had
a blue screen today. The code for the problem is :0x00000001 (0x8198ee43,
0x00000000, 0x0000ffff, 0x00000000) anyone can help with that ?

You have to analyze the .dmp files of the BSOD.
They are usually found in C:\Windows\Minidump. In your case you should
have about 25 of those files. This article shows you how to go about it:

Check your laptop vendors web site for updated drivers.
Still have a problem?

Lots of different things to try.....

Very likely driver related, but I don't think you gave us enough information
to figure out which driver. What is your hardware configuration?

I had a look in all the updates that my PC has received and I already have this one. The thing is I only had 1 blue screen since recovery yesterday. Unfortunately I didn't do any notes of the previous ones. I think I'm just going to wait until tuesday (day off work) and go to the retailer and tell them to fix it or give me a new laptop. I did removed the Norton 360 as you said and the boot up and closing time for Vista has dropped from boot up :1m50sec and shut down:3m47sec to boot :55sec and shut down :35sec so that's a big difference

Well, it is getting better. Hope they can sort the rest of the bugs out for you.
