"ALL PROGRAMS" empty

Within the Start Menu button, when I got to "ALL PROGRAMS" it is
empty. I was working on a word doc and when I went to the STart Menu,
I saw that all my programs have been removed from there. I checked
the PROGRAM FILES on my C:\ and the programs are there. Help!!! What
can I do to get the programs listed in the Start Menu?

Hi Jenne,

Well, there is no easy solution.

1. You can manually add all the shortcuts back to All Programs in the Start Menu. See this tutorial for how if needed.

Start Menu - Shortcuts

2. You can setup a new Administrator account temporarily and transfer those shortcuts to a folder in your current account to help speed things up with adding them manually.

Re: "ALL PROGRAMS" empty

Right-click on the Start button on your Taskbar, and choose Open. Then do
that again, this time choosing Open All Users.

The first time it should open this folder:
C:\Users\(Your Name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu

The second time, this folder:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu

Are you getting errors when you do this? Are there any files in the
Programs folder in each of the above folders?
