    using wordpad

    I want to create a document in two columns in vista but cant seem to find out
    how. I am used to going into 'format' and then 'columns' in my old windows.

    Wordpad is a very simple editor and does not include many of the advanced
    features of Microsoft Word or other word processors.

    WordPad is nothing but a glorified text editor, and is far from a
    full-featured word processor. If you need to produce anything more
    complex than a simple text document, almost certainly you should
    acquire a real word processor. Choices include Microsoft Word,
    WordPerfect, the inexpensive StarOffice, and the freeware Open Office.

    OpenOffice.org is not freeware - it is Open Source.
