| | DVDMaker.exe version 6.0.6000.16386 ntdll.dll At about "Encoding 3.0%", Windows DVD Maker crashes and proceeds to restart. This started happening recently. We were able to make DVDs without crashing about a month ago. We have a NVidia video card on Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit. Faulting application DVDMaker.exe, version 6.0.6000.16386, time stamp 0x4549b5b0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6000.16386, time stamp 0x4549bdc9, exception code 0xc0000374, fault offset 0x000af1c9, process id 0x16a8, application start time 0x01c7f88ba2c4b85b. |

| | Re: DVDMaker.exe version 6.0.6000.16386 ntdll.dll Is the entire system crashing? If so it could be a heat related problem. Encoding DVD'S will really heat a CPU up. Try blowing the dirt from your cpu fan (With the power off) This can also be done with a vacuum hose held near the fan. This is the 1st thing to try. It cured a fried of mine system a month that just started crashing while he was burning. | | Re: DVDMaker.exe version 6.0.6000.16386 ntdll.dll You wouldn't happen to have a REALLY old version of FFDShow.ax on the system, would you? I would only use/trust the FFDShow Tryouts Beta 3 version at this point. Anything different or older would be likely to cause problems. -- Speaking for myself only. | | Re: DVDMaker.exe version 6.0.6000.16386 ntdll.dll What's the current fault bucket then? (Make sure your report those to Microsoft...) http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#bucket I believe when I looked at your crash it appeared to be a crash in the old FFDshow.ax . But I'm sure you could search for that easily enough, so you probably already know that answer. =) -- Speaking for myself only. See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
