Remote Desktop Error

I am trying to RDP into a "VISTA for business workstation" and I get the
following error "Your account has been disabled. Please see your system
Administrator"

* Remote Desktop has been enabled from the REMOTE TAB | SYSTEM PROPERTIES
* Remote Desktop has been enabled from the Firewall Exception TAB.
* I am using the Local\Administrator account, which is enabled. Whether I
prefix the local host or not does not make a difference
* I am connecting from a Windows 2003 Server SBS

Is there an extra configuration for VISTA that I am not aware of, maybe in
local policy??

Thanks,
----
Nicki

Re: Remote Desktop Error

Hi,

Are you using "an" administrator account or "the" administrator account. The
latter is not normally enabled and shouldn't be. You should be logging in
using your admin-level account (and really, this too is an unsafe practice,
a standard user account is what the majority should be using).

Also, make sure you are set to receive RD connections from any version of
Windows on the Remote tab.

Re: Remote Desktop Error

Rick,

Thanks for your help. This was my 1st experience w/ VISTA. I was not aware
that the "ADMINISTRATOR " account is disabled by default.
