| | Re: Downgrade Rights Were you able to avtivate the XP Pro? I called the avtivation center and they refuse to activate my XP Pro even with valid Vista Business OEM key on the workstation. They told me I was miss informed and need a valid XP Pro Key. At the end I shout at them and they gave me set of ID to activate one machine. I have to activate 100 XP Pro a month. This is going to be a battle. | | Re: Downgrade Rights Yes, it would be, but volume license aggrement does not apply to workstation that we sell to customer. VLK cannot leave your company. We install custom software and then sell complete turn key solution to customer. We also approched customers to send us their VLK so we can install corp version of XP, but their VLK cannot leave their company. HP, IBM, and Dell workstations always comes with OEM license anyways. Frustrating, isn't it? Then the lady I spoke to just told me the activation number. Could not believe how easy it was, once I got past the automated part. I had a printout of the downgrade right document just in case I was challenged. http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...rencesheet.pdf Good luck.
