| | Windows Explorer has stopped responding I did a search for it, but decided against reading 50 threads with the same subject name. The ones I did look at don't appear to be the same issue (they appear to crash on startup, or when looking at a specific folder). I have the following issue: Open 2 Windows folders, Close a folder, Windows Explorer has stopped responding. It's a good thing I tell it to open windows in a seperate memory space so that it doesn't kill the desktop completely. I think the issue started after installing the last flurry of hotfixes (possibly the ones in the last (R.I.P) version of Autopather?). Anyone else had this issue, or know of a solution? If it means uninstalling a particular hotfix then I'll gladly do it! |

| | RE: Windows Explorer has stopped responding hi chris i'm from belgium. have the same problem. immediately after starting the computer i already get this message, windows explorer does not respond. automatically it restarts, and than for a while i can use the explorer. but sometimes it just does not work at all. same thing with a flickering screen, i saw a post by someone else, who has the same problem. me too, it just goes black for some seconds and that really happens very much during a computer session.
