| | Cursor hovering opens programs Only had laptop with Vista for 2 days. I am a complete greenhorn with Vista! How do I stop applications opening when the cursor hovers over them. I would like to set up my computer like my old XP, where I have to click or double click to open or start applications. Thanks |

| | RE: Cursor hovering opens programs go to control panel in the upper left hand corner click "classic view" then mouse and change the settings to what you want them to be, it depends what device you have as to what the settings will be, but try changing the click speed to slower or if there is an option to single click or double click to open folders/programs change that. You may also be able to access the settings by right clicking the icon for your device in the task bar>pointing device properties(that's what mine is) "Ray" wrote: Quote: > Only had laptop with Vista for 2 days.
