Horizontal Span

What happened to Horizontal Span display mode?

As a graphics designer Horizontal Span is a must have for me. Dual Mode just
doesn't cut it with apps I use. And it's very annoying for games that I
enjoy(ed) playing across two screens.
What can we do to get it re-instated? A petition? Email?

If I had known HS was missing I'd not have bought a new Vista-compatible
computer. It's too bad I can't get my money back on an opened and installed
OS.

Re: Horizontal Span

Because one post was for the "Suggestion to Microsoft" forum and one was for
"General Discussion". Are you the Forum Police? ;-)

Re: Horizontal Span

FYI (and note that I'm not policing, I'm just giving you some info):

People access these forums/newsgroups in a variety of different fashions. I,
for one, use Windows Mail. Others post to a website. Others use different
types of news readers.
I for one have no idea what you're referring to when you talk about
"suggestion to Microsoft" and "General Discussion." Apparently this are
options on a forum website you're using.
But for those of us who use Windows Mail (and before that Outlook Express)
all we see are a bunch of emails sent to a newsgroup. Nothing is indicated
as "suggestion to MS" or "General discussion."
So in my Windows Mail view, I see two back-to-back threads initiated by you
with Horizontal Span as the subject.
No big deal. I just want you to realize that not everybody is looking at
these posts the same way.

There are users here who are much more familiar about the differences
between newsgroups and forums, and I'm sure they'll be chiming in soon.

Re: Horizontal Span

Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification. I didn't release there was a
non-forum way to see these threads and my intent was certainly not to spam.

I just hope someone at MS reads these and takes action on getting Horizontal
Span back.
