    Removing stubborn shortcuts, after uninstall

I uninstalled a piece of trialware, but the shortcut on my desktop refuses to
leave. When I click on delete, I get the standard message about how this will
not uninstall the program, blah, blah, blah... I click on OK, and it refuses
to die because it cannot find the source file? It's a shortcut, why does it
need the source file? How do I kill this thing and get it off my desktop?
    Anyone?

    You could try Ccleaner(free)
    http://www.download.com/CCleaner/300...ml?tag=lst-0-1 or
Registry fix(free trial, but won't fix all of the problems with free trial
$37.00 to buy) http://www.registryfix.com they are both very good at removing
    these types of things.
